Tiesha Marie Johnson was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Cass Technical High School.  Tiesha has attended: Michigan State University, William Tyndale College and Wayne County Community College.


            Tiesha accepted her call to preach the unadulterated Word of God in 1996. From the time she accepted Christ and was baptized at age ten, God was preparing her to become a Minister, a Mentor, an Overseer, an Entrepreneur, a wife. 

            Tiesha began covering territory for the Kingdom of God at Unity Baptist Church in Detroit, MI under the tutelage of the late Reverend Dr. Valmon D. Stotts. While a member there, she served in several ministries and auxiliaries including Voices of Unity Young Adult Choir; served as Assistant Coordinator of the Care Ministry; Leadership team; Pastor’s Anniversary Committee and Youth Department

            In 2001, Tiesha became a member of Greater Southern Missionary Baptist Church (GSMBC) under the tutelage of the late Pastor Johnnie B. Saulsberry. Being blessed with numerous gifts and talents, she lent her services to such capacities as Mentoring Coordinator for the Young Women’s Unit of the Women’s Division of the Michigan Progressive Baptist Convention. Tiesha also served as an Instructor and Co-Youth Director while at GSMBC.  She helped organize the department and instituted the Young Ladies Dance Ministry. 

           Minister TIESHA is the accomplished Founder and Overseer of Well Women Ministries (WWM) in Detroit, MI. WWM was birthed into life in July 2002. Since its inception, WWM has been empowering women to become whole and healed in Christ. The ministry has a staff of Evangelists, Speakers, Intercessors, Prayer Warriors, and Counselors. Given the full staff with which WWM operates, they have witnessed the manifestation of women empowered through the use of evangelism, prayer, mentoring, and counseling. The mission of Well Women Ministries is 1) Win Souls to Christ through Evangelistic efforts by sharing the Gospel with those who haven't heard and to go to places to spread the gospel such as shelters, colleges, etc. and 2) Encourage Christian women in their walk to obtain liberty through Christ. Well Women Ministries incorporates Evangelism and development of the “Whole, Healed and Well Woman” in order to achieve this.

            WWM has held workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote its mission and to spread the Word of God to women everywhere. In 2010, WWM began leading a monthly chapel service at the Detroit Rescue Mission’s Genesis House II. This is a continued endeavor and has proved to be a great success. In addition to sharing Christ with the women in the Genesis House, WWM has been able to help provide toiletries and personal supplies for the women.  

            Over the years, WWM has hosted a monthly internet radio show, Give Me to Drink; Worship at the Well services; Mentoring 4th& 5th Grade girls at a Detroit Public Schools Elementary school in 2009; and at the end of 2010, WWM implemented “Well Women Wednesdays 5am Prayer Call” as they celebrated entering into their ninth consecutive year as an active, fully operational ministry. Well Women Ministries celebrated its tenth year of ministry in July 2012. As Well Women Ministries’ continues to work in the Kingdom of God, we are determined to be: M.I.A. – Ministry In Action! 

            Founder/Overseer Tiesha Marie Johnson is currently working on several media products including books, CD’s and DVD’s which will uplift, empower, inspire, and liberate the people of God!

            Tiesha was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 2004, and begin to cover new territory in 2006 at Spirit & Truth Christian Ministries under the tutelage of Bishop James A. Williams, II and his wife, Pastor Kelli R. Williams. While at Spirit & Truth Christian Ministries, Tiesha would serve on the Ministerial Alliance, as an Intercessor, an Assistant for the women’s ministry Spirit-Led Women of Truth (S.W.O.T.), danced with the praise group Dunamis N Praise.  From 2008-2014, Bishop Williams was the spiritual covering for Well Women Ministries, through Kingdom Builders Association of Churches and Ministries.

            Minister Tiesha is a member of Empowering Disciples Church (Roseville, MI) where Pastors Jerel and DeShawn Johnson are her spiritual leaders.

           In October 2016, Minister Tiesha was ordained as an Elder, under Bishop Larry L. Mann, through Kingdom Vision Fellowship of Churches, in Roseville, MI.  Bishop Mann is the spiritual covering for Minister Tiesha and Well Women Ministries.

           2017 marks the re-launch/re-birth of Well Women Ministries.  As WWM moves forward in this next move of God, they will humbly celebrate 15 years in ministry.  In July a weekend celebration will mark this incredible occasion.

            Tiesha is a federal employee and entrepreneur. She loves to help those in need.  Minister Tiesha is honored and elated to walk out the purpose and destiny that God has created her for.  There are great things to come from this Woman of God and this Ministry!

             It is Minister Tiesha's hearts desire that EVERY woman become: Whole, Healed and WELL!!!
